Despite not having achieved my time goal and having a lot of difficulties going down the stairs I feel pretty good today! :)
But the Pig posted this info and somehow I feel a little better. When I crossed the finish my Garmin said 43.10, I kept thinking I was done and the finish just wouldn't come! LOL
Due to a multiple-alarm fire on Mile 22 of the Marathon course, the start of the race was delayed by about 15 minutes. The course was re-directed around the emergency, adding an estimated fourth of a mile to the route. The route still will be certified as an official course.
If you multiply your time by .9905 you will get your official time, and the Boston qualifier time....
Although in my case an hour would need to be shaved! :)
